I AM...

The essence of insecurity is having no clue how special you are. This is a personal revelation I would like to share with you.I am willing to be vulnerable, since I didn't think I was able to accomplish this task assigned by God.... Yes that's correct, God!

I found myself like Jeremiah, the prophet in the bible, after God gave him a task who told God "LET ME BE!"  Or Moses who, although didn't doubt what God could do everything he promised at the burning bush, he just said "Just send someone else"

Like these two amazing men of God, I felt the same way - insignificant for such task. Then I realized that insecurity is the ultimate insult to God. When I focused on my deficiency, I'm not trusting God is able enough to overcome.

We all have heard, I hope, one of the commandments, actually #7
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. Exodus 20:7

But then what is God's name? Who is He? Well, when Moses asked him his reply was:

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:14

What I find interesting is that we do it ALL the time... take His name in vain that is.

Every time we doubt ourselves, or say things like I am so stupid, I am not worthy, I am ______ fill in the blank.

Just remember when you feel the urge of doubt yourself, Just stop and praise Him because You are fearfully and wonderfully made; God's works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

I am more than conqueror!
